Using VelocityCam Garage

Updated · Published by VelocityCam (JuMaSt Appworks LLC)

Garage keeps track of the vehicles you record with and associates each recording with the vehicle that made it, so your sessions stay organized by car, bike, boat, or machine.

What Garage is for

If you record with more than one vehicle — or want to know which sessions came from which setup — Garage connects a vehicle to each recording. That makes it easier to find sessions later and to compare results from the same vehicle.

1. Add a vehicle

Open Garage in the app and add a vehicle. The free version includes one Garage vehicle; VelocityCam Pro lets you add more.

2. Select the vehicle for a recording

Choose the vehicle you are using before you record. VelocityCam associates the recording with that vehicle, and the association stays with the session in your Library.

Free vs Pro

Garage is not Pro-only. The free version covers the basics; Pro expands it.

  • Free: one Garage vehicle, with basic vehicle selection and association with recordings.
  • Pro: multiple Garage vehicles.
  • Pro: named vehicle setups.
  • Pro: advanced vehicle statistics and expanded comparison capabilities.

Where Garage data lives

Garage information is part of your local VelocityCam session data on the phone. It is not a cloud account.

VelocityCam runs on Android 10 or newer phones with the required camera and GPS hardware; camera features vary by device. Record a session, review it with synchronized telemetry, then export and share it.
