Record the action. Keep the telemetry.
Turn your Android phone into a telemetry camera for drives, trails, boat runs, track sessions, motorcycles, and bicycles. Record mounted vehicle telemetry with speed, G-force, pitch, and roll, or use the Handheld HUD for GPS-based performance video without a fixed mount — then replay, export, and share with the HUD intact.
Install the current test build, complete a real recording and export, then tell us what worked and what did not.

VelocityCam needs results from real Android phones, mounts, vehicles, trails, boats, lighting conditions, and export workflows — not just desk testing.
Open the Google Play listing and install VelocityCam on an Android 10 or newer phone with a rear camera, GPS, and motion sensors.
Join Open Testing on Google PlayMount the phone for vehicle-motion telemetry or select the Handheld HUD for GPS-based performance recording. Wait for GPS lock, record a real drive, ride, trail, or boat run, play the session back, and export at least one video.
Report your phone model, Android version, what you tested, what worked, and anything unexpected.
Submit Tester FeedbackOpen-testing software may still contain device-specific issues. Mount your phone securely and never interact with it while driving or operating a vehicle.
Help test VelocityCam across real Android phones, vehicles, trails, boats, and recording conditions before the public release.
The first 75 qualifying testers who complete a real recording and export and submit detailed private feedback may receive a one-time Google Play promotional code for VelocityCam Pro Lifetime after review.
VelocityCam records your video and telemetry together, keeping the live HUD synchronized during recording, playback, and export.
Speed and the readouts for your chosen HUD profile respond while you record — mounted motion gauges or Handheld GPS performance.
VelocityCam establishes the recording reference when Record is pressed so supported motion gauges begin from the phone's current orientation.
Review the footage with telemetry aligned to the moment it was recorded.
Create original, landscape, vertical, or square videos with the selected HUD included.
Use VelocityCam mounted when you want vehicle-motion telemetry, or use Handheld when you want quick GPS-based performance video without a fixed phone mount.
Record drives, acceleration runs, track sessions, test runs, and road trips with speed and motion data.
Capture boat runs with speed, pitch, roll, G-force, and optional Route Trace playback.
Record trails, ATV and UTV rides, snowmobile trips, and rough terrain with mount-aware telemetry.
Use clean or activity-focused HUD options for two-wheel recordings and social-format exports.
Same recording pipeline, tailored guidance for each activity.

How the speed and G-force streams are captured, played back, and exported.
Marine setup with Route Trace, the Marine Blue theme, and Boat Adventure icon.
Trail, ATV/UTV, and snowmobile recording with pitch, roll, and Route Trace.
Two-wheel recording with clean HUDs and vertical social exports.
Practical walkthroughs for recording, mounting, and reviewing telemetry video.
Use a secure mount for Classic or Adventure vehicle-motion telemetry, or select Handheld for GPS-based performance recording without a fixed mount. Wait for GPS readiness and start recording.
Replay synchronized video and telemetry, organize the recording, and review available session statistics.
Choose the destination and export format, then share through supported apps or the Android share sheet.
The free version includes the complete recording workflow, the Classic, Handheld, and Minimal HUD profiles, synchronized playback, session organization, video export, and Quick Share.
Quick Share opens TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, or the Android share sheet with your exported file — VelocityCam creates the export locally; the destination app handles the actual upload.
Record GPS-based performance video without mounting the phone. The two side gauges work as matched pairs — tap either side to cycle through them. The pair active when recording begins is preserved for playback and export.
Handheld recording should be done by a passenger, a stopped user, or a safely positioned operator where lawful and safe — never handle a phone while operating a vehicle. More about Handheld recording.
VelocityCam Pro adds route visualization, richer session analysis, telemetry and route files, premium HUD options, and complete watermark control.
Offline route trace drawn from your recorded GPS points — no online map tiles and no map API keys. Route Trace renders during Library playback and in new exports (it is not drawn on the live recording screen).
Classic, Handheld, and Minimal are included free. Pro adds the Adventure profile plus the premium HUD themes and Adventure vehicle icons listed below.
Calibrated telemetry samples suitable for spreadsheets and analysis tools.
Keep the original recording untouched while creating a new video for its intended destination.
Social-format exports use center-cropping. VelocityCam creates the export file and opens the target app or Android share interface — it does not upload directly to social networks.
Review, search, organize, analyze, export, and share saved recordings from the built-in Library and Session Details screens.
Readouts depend on the HUD profile you choose, so not every value appears at once.

The VelocityCam Android app has no account, no cloud upload, no advertising SDKs, no analytics SDKs, no crash-reporting SDKs, and no background-location permission.
The optional website launch list is separate from the Android app. Email addresses submitted through this website are processed only for VelocityCam testing and release notifications as described in the Privacy Policy.
VelocityCam clearly shows when the camera, GPS, and required permissions are ready. Viewfinder grid lines and crosshairs help frame the shot, while built-in guidance explains anything preventing recording.
Found a compatibility issue, a recording or export problem, or have a feature idea? The tester feedback form captures your device, Android version, and what worked — that detail is what makes a report fixable.
