Recordings and route data stay on the device. Route Trace works offline. VelocityCam does not upload recordings; exports are saved to the phone, and sharing them is a separate step you choose.

Frequently asked questions
What does the live HUD show while riding?
GPS-derived speed on the Minimal HUD, or on Pro the Telemetry HUD with readouts like Max Speed, Best 10s, Best 30s, and Distance From Start, or the live-testing Performance HUD.
Can it record ATV or UTV rides?
Yes. A securely positioned or mounted Android phone can capture the video and GPS speed, and in Pro sessions can be tagged with an activity type such as Adventure or Other.
Does it work without cellular coverage?
Yes. Recording, playback, Route Trace, and export are all offline. GPS is a satellite signal.
Can I export the trail route?
Yes, with Pro. GPX and KML route exports work from any session that includes GPS data.
Does it support snowmobiles?
Yes. Tag the session with an appropriate activity type in Pro and keep the phone within its operating temperature range as specified by the phone manufacturer.
Does the application require an external action camera?
No. VelocityCam uses the phone's rear camera. External action cameras are not supported.
